Dietary & Allergy Advice

Contains: Gluten, Eggs, Dairy products

Please note that all photos are representative, all our cookies are hand made and therefore decorations and finish will vary.

Wheat Flour, Unsalted butter, Sugar, Eggs, Vanilla extract (Water, Monopropylene Glycol, Natural Vanilla Extract), Baking powder (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Raising Agents: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate E450i, Sodium Bicarbonate E500 (ii)), Salt, Milk Chocolate (sugar; cocoa butter; whole milk powder; cocoa mass; emulsifier: soya lecithin; natural vanilla flavouring), White Chocolate (sugar; cocoa butter; whole milk powder; cocoa mass; emulsifier: soya lecithin; natural vanilla flavouring), Cocoa powder (cocoa powder; acidity regulator: E 501i)

We know lots of you send our cookies as a pick-me-up or to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, so we want you to know how they look when they arrive.

How are the cookies themselves packed & do you separate vegan/glutenfree cookies?
As standard, cookies are packed in our Wicked Cookies bags – usually 2 in a bag. We pack nuts, strong flavours, vegan/dairyfree and gluten-free cookies separately. If your order contains a mix of glutenfree/dairyfree/regular cookies, your GF/DF bags will have their contents  written on for ease of identification. We are in the process of swapping our bag design, so you may find the whole cookie name on the bag, or just the cookie codes (which are pretty obvious, but can also be found on the packing note for ease of identification!)

How are the cookies boxed?
The bags are then placed into one of our outer boxes. We have 2 sizes. One which fits up to 7/8 cookies. One for 8+. Biodegradeable zig zag kraft paper is then used to fill in the gaps and snuggle your cookies up for the journey. (Home deliveries and click and collect orders which are with us the whole time and not thrown around a courier hub do not contain this ziggy zaggy stuff!)

What paperwork is included?
On top of that is your delivery note (no prices included), with a list of the cookies in the box and any gift message that you have added using our ‘add message' product. If you do want to add a message, there is no box at the checkout, you need to select the ‘add message’ product to your basket. This can be found on the ‘all cookies’ page and quite probably at the bottom of every single cookie page too! Just add it to your basket, type your message into the text box and you’re all done. There is no limit on how long your message is, but please note, despite the wonders of technology, line breaks, returns and emojis don’t work I’m afraid and will appear as some strange gibberish in your message when it finally prints at our end!

Presentation Card
On top of your delivery note is one of our beautiful insert cards. We have a fabulous and random selection with various phrases so it’s a surprise which one you will get. However, if you have included a gift message with your cookies, we will choose the most appropriate insert for your message. For example, With Love or You’re Awesome…or Happy Birthday!

Outer Labels
Your box is then sealed using eco-friendly, non-plastic tape and finished with your shipping label and a big yellow sticker which ensures the courier does not take your parcel back to the depot if nobody is in. As a perishable food item, Wicked Cookies are treated to express delivery treatment and whilst the odd circumstance pops up which causes a delay, 99% of our courier deliveries arrive the very next day. They are fully tracked and if you have included your mobile number and email address, you will be kept updated with your parcel’s progress and final delivery.

Eco-friendly info

We are super environmentally friendly. Every part of your cookie package is recyclable and/or biodegradeable and we use a courier with lots of environmental awards and a goal for carbon neutral deliveries. We hate plastic and steer clear of it wherever possible so your box is not wrapped in a courier pack plastic bag for these reasons.

Giftwrapping

If you would like to upgrade your cookies with our luxury giftwrap option so you can take them out of their shipping box and present them with style and flair, then you can add our regular or large luxury gift box option to your order. You can find this as a product which can be added to your basket along with your cookies.

I've placed an order but haven't received a confirmation email?

 - No problem. Our system sends these automatically so there are 3 possible issues here; 1) It's in your spam folder.....this is the most likely and happens aaaaaalll the time...we're trying to do something about this but it's a long and tedious thing to be honest. 2) You typed your email address in wrong...yep we all do it and you would be amazed how often it happens. If this is the case, please send us a message from our contact page and double check your email address when you input it. 3) The order didn't go through and something happened. It might be a glitch in the matrix, or you may have been distracted by the cat dragging a dead mouse across your foot...also perfectly understandable!

Are Wicked Cookies gluten free?

 - Only our marked ‘Gluten Free’ cookies are suitable for people with a gluten intolerance.

Are Wicked Cookies dairy free?

 - Only our marked 'Vegan / Dairy Free' cookies are suitable for people who either don’t want to eat dairy products or are allergic to them.

Are Wicked Cookies suitable for nut allergy sufferers?

 - All our cookies are made in a kitchen where nuts are present.

Are Wicked Cookies suitable for vegetarians?

 - Our cookies are suitable for lacto ovo vegetarians (those that eat dairy and egg products). None of our cookies contain meat or fish products.

Are Wicked Cookies Halal?

 - Our cookies do not contain alcohol or gelatine. Obviously the non dairyfree range do contain butter and eggs, but to the best of our understanding and research, this is not a concern as the animals are not killed for this. If you feel we have not answered this question sufficiently, or can help guide us to provide a better answer, we would be delighted to hear from you via our contact page.

How big are your cookies?

 - So big, eating more than one in one sitting puts you in our hall of fame! No, seriously, they're pretty big. They all spread differently but we work to an approximate weight of 85g per cookie. They are roughly 9cm in diameter and 2cm deep.

How long do Wicked Cookies last?

 - In our house...not very long!  If you’re particularly strong willed, they’ll last for 3 days in an airtight container. We’d recommend that strong flavours like our Orange & Chocolate, Lemon & White Chocolate and our Mocha Walnut are kept separately. You can freeze our cookies too...see below.

Where can I buy Wicked Cookies?

 - We don’t have any shops at the moment but as well as here online, you can buy our cookies at various markets and events. You can find the latest list of events here.

Can I buy Wicked Cookies online?

 - Yes, by the power of Greyskull, you can buy cookies online and have them delivered to your home or office by courier. We also have a free click & collect option in 6 locations across Warwickshire (Coventry, Nuneaton, Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington, Stratford). To check all delivery and collect options, take a look at the drop down list in the shopping basket.

Do you ship/deliver to other countries?

 - The quick answer is yes! However, you have to understand that we're all about freshness and quality of cookie experience. So sending our freshly baked cookies all over Europe and the world cheaply, means they're going to arrive dry and disappointing...that's bad, bad, bad! Our cookies need to arrive within 48hrs to be sure you get the best out of them, so a 24hr service plus allowing an inevitable 24hrs 'delay' is about as much as we can risk. So that means it's expensive and you need to weigh up just how desperate you are for our cookies lol. Don't get us wrong, we totally understand the dilemma and we have many cookiemonsters across Europe going for it. At the moment, we can deliver to MOST main European countries on a suitable 24/48hr service for a flat rate of £30 which allows you a box of up to 16 cookies. At the moment, our website does not allow international delivery destinations, so if you would like to enquire further about international shipping, or indeed place an order, then please go to our contact page and drop us a message.

I'm in another country but want to send your cookies to someone in the UK. How do I do this?

 - Ok, no problem...we have to fudge this as our little old ecommerce website system doesn't like this. So for your billing address, use your own address but make sure the country is set to UK. The payment method will not be affected by this and it means your order can go straight through. Any problems, contact us on our live chat or drop us a message through the contact page.

Can you deliver to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and other offshore UK areas?

 - Yes! We're pretty amazing to be honest, so we can arrange most things. Annoyingly, it does come at a price. At the moment, our little old website isn't clever enough to work out all these variables, so if you are interested in any of these areas, it's best to get in touch with a message. Our courier (DPD) do deliver to most places but there are some which take 2 days rather than 1 (some Aberdeen postcodes are also 2days). Offshore generally works out around £11 a parcel and Northern Ireland is shockingly expensive at £26 (you might as well live in Spain!). However, Royal Mail special delivery can work out cheaper and we will always do our best to take your parcel by hand to our post office at the end of the day, if it means you get your cookies where you want them to go at a more affordable price. We jsut need some notice to fit this in. For more accurate pricing and options, please pop along to our contact page and give us the postcode of where you want the cookies to go, and how many cookies you want to send. We can then get back to you.

How does your click & collect work?

 - We have 6 click & collect locations in Warwickshire; Nuneaton, Coventry, Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington & Stratford-upon-Avon. Order by 10am on the morning and your freshly baked cookies will be ready for collection later that afternoon from 5pm usually. At the moment, it's only Fridays (plus an extra one for Coventry on Monday). There is no charge, simply turn up to the secret location (details in your order confirmation email) and pick up the box with your name on it. Super simple! For more detailed information, please take a look at our delivery page.

Can your cookies be frozen?

 - Yes, they can. It’s worth mentioning though that our Salted Caramel don’t freeze quite as well as others due to the caramel chips tending to go a bit squidgy after defrosting. Freeze for up to 3 months and keep strong flavours separate. Defrost naturally (around 2hrs) and you can get them right back to that freshly baked moment if you warm them in your oven (pre warm to 120 degrees then put on a baking tray for 7-8 mins)...or 15-20 seconds in the microwave will do a similar job!

Is the chocolate fair trade?

 - Yes it is. It’s really important to us that we use ethical ingredients as much as possible.

Do you use free range eggs?

 - Absolutely! Our eggs come from chickens that are free to roam in the barn or outdoors...there’s even a wooded area where they can rest, get some shade and forage. This is the actual real farm where our eggs come from (and it's certified RSPCA assured). By the way, just thought we'd mention it - Angela's farm (that's our egg lady!) is just down the road from 'Grandma's House'. So Angela delivers our eggs to Grandma and Grandma brings them to our bakery when she comes over to help each week. #lowestfoodmilesever

This is Angela, our 'egg lady' on her farm with one of her lovely chickens One of the wooded areas her chickens can wander about it

Do your cookies contain hydrogenated fats?

 - No way Jose! They’re the work of the devil and whilst our cookies might be wicked...we won’t go that far!

Do you have nutritional information or calorie info?

 - Now why would you want to ruin a perfectly excellent cookie experience with a question like that? Well, to be fair, we've had our calorie counting, carb crunching moments too, so we'll do our best to help you out. Firstly, to get detailed nutritional info for lots of products is super crazy expensive and we're a tiny family business and we can't afford that right now. Each of our cookies roughly comes out between 350 and 450 kcals each....that's about the same as a slice of cake...and they are just as filling, if not more so. Obviously cookies with chocolate and nuts are at the highest end of that. The Halo Chocolate and Halo Granola cookies are our lowest carb cookies with NO ADDED SUGAR. You can find out more about their specific carb and sugar content in their descriptions.

How are your cookies packaged?

 - Our online orders are sent in recyclable, biodegradable cardboard boxes, sealed with paper based packing tape. We hate plastic and we avoid it all costs! Inside, the cookies are usually packed in 2's per bag with strong flavours, nuts, vegan, dairyfree and glutenfree cookies packed separately. Vegan/Dairyfree/Glutenfree cookies are in clearly labelled bags with the code for that cookie written in the big green circle at the top so you can't miss it. For example, a Vegan Orange & Chocolate cookie is labelled VO on the bag.
Each order contains a delivery note with the cookies you have ordered listed and the code is also on this paperwork for easy identification. If you have added a gift message, then this is also printed on the delivery note in a lovely scripty font.

Can I order cookies for my office / party / wedding?

 - Yes! Please contact us and we’ll take some details and work out the best way we can help you. We have a specific corporate page where you can take a look at some of the work we've done for businesses around the UK and you can enquire as to how we could do the same for you too.

Do you sell cookies wholesale?

 - We do get asked this all the time. In the most part, the answer is no as we like to keep our presentation, quality and standards tip top. We also have to consider volume and delivery as it's just the four of us and we can't start delivering a few cookies to coffee shops all over the county. If however, you have a proposition that might be the first to work for us, then please do feel free to use the contact page to get in touch and give us some information about what you have in mind....we never say never!

What are cookie points and loyalty cards?

 - We reward our cookiemonsters with free cookies! If you buy your cookies from us in person, we give you a loyalty card with 1 stamp per cookie. Fill it with 12 stamps and you get ....a free cookie of your choice! Also, it's worth knowing that for every 20 cards that get redeemed, we plant a tree. So by eating our cookies, you're helping save the world!
On our website, you get cookie points (as long as you create an account and don't use guest checkout). They work in the same way. Each cookie you buy on the website gives you a cookie point. Save these up and you can redeem them against future orders for a percentage discount with the same equivalent as our '12 cookies gets you 1 free' stamp card.
Sadly, the stamp cards and the web cookie points operate on 2 different systems which we cannot combine, so you can only get stamps and redeem cards at our markets, festivals and Coventry train station pop up.
Web points are online only.
During lockdown (March-July) we gave all online orders stamp cards in with their cookies as well as web points...so double points essentially that meant you could get discount online and also free cookies when you finally are able to see us in person.

Stoneground flour, Unsalted butter, Brown sugar, Eggs, Cocoa powder, Milk chocolate, White chocolate, Vanilla extract, Baking powder, Salt

Dietary & Allergy Advice

All our products are made in kitchens that may handle nuts or other allergens.

Contains: Gluten, Eggs, Dairy products

This cookie is not suitable for people who are lactose or gluten intolerant.
